Universal Design = Beautiful Environments

Today’s Universal Design concepts provide an excellent starting point for an ongoing process of gaining knowledge about lifestage needs and appropriate products that address these needs. The goal is to improve the comfort and usefulness of homes without making them “medical”. The emphasis should be on creating housing features which accommodate people of all ages and abilities. We are evolving towards universally usable and marketable housing.
